BELLER BACK ON TOP - CAM TAKES CLEAN SWEEP AT WINTON TO RECLAIM CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD

4 time Porsche 944 Australia champion Cameron Beller has reclaimed the top spot in the 2022 championship battle with a storming ‘3 wins from 3 races’ at Winton, during Round 2, of the 2022 Porsche 944 Australian championship season.

Beller saw off 2021 champion Jamie Westaway in Race 1, after earlier taking pole in qualifying. and went on to dominate all 3 races of the weekend.

Round 3 of the series returns to the fast and free flowing Victorian circuit of Phillip Island on 14 May - a circuit which Beller rates as one of his favorites and where he has enjoyed much success previously.

Jack Atley, driving the sister Beller Motorsport Porsche 944 finished race 1 in 7th of the 16 car field but was subsequently handed a 30 second post race penalty from race stewards, for an attempt to pass prior to the line after a safety car restart which hampered the red car driver.
